Batch/offline measurement system can measure samples from beaker, chemical bottle, washing tanks and others by drawing sample through sensor. Samples are drawn in using syringe sampler so the system can be placed on a trolly and be mobile. This allows system to go around different washing tanks or bringing samples to batch/offline system.
The advantage of batch/offline system is as written above, it can be placed away from sample line and multiple sample can be measured.
Disadvantage is that the operator must be careful about contamination. Containar for samples must be clean and free of particles as it can effect the result of sample. If the target particle size is small, contamination from surrounding environment can occur as well.
Batch/offline mesurement is used widely from R&D, quality control, random pick test of chemicals, archeived cleanliness and others.
