Monitoring environment for painting car bodies

Paint on the bodies of cars are layered to make color standout and to provide protection. Thickness of the paint can be 20 to 40μm. If large particle is stuck on the surface of the body, it can cause defects such as fisheye. This can be fixed by fine grinding and repainting but with some colors, it is difficult and the process can take long time. To prevent this, bodies bofore paint must be washed thoroughly as well as the environment of the painting being kept clean like a claen room.
To reduce these defects caused by particles, particle counters such as KC-20A or KC-52AK are used to check the absense of particles which can cause fault in paints.
